State-level benefits and discounts
  • Hunting and Fishing Licenses:
    • Discounted lifetime licenses are available for military retirees and 100% permanently disabled veterans who are Arkansas residents.
    • Active duty members stationed in Arkansas can purchase licenses at the resident rate.
    • A new Disabled Veteran Lifetime Combination License is available at a reduced rate for resident military veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 70% or higher or a 50% rating and a Purple Heart medal.
  • Arkansas State Parks: 100% permanently disabled veterans receive a 50% discount on camping fees.
  • Tax Benefits:
    • Exemption from state income tax on military pay and allowances.
